Learn how I can help you get what you want!

Hello! I’m Kaneisha Grayson.

  • I’m the author of Be Your Own Boyfriend,
  • I am an international speaker on marketing, entrepreneurship, and personal development, and…
  • I’m an admissions consultant for professionals applying to top MBA, MPP, and other highly competitive programs.

Read below to learn more about my writing, speaking, and coaching.

I’m a writer.

Here at Kaneisha.com, I create content for high-achieving Millennials (folks in their 20s and 30s) who want to create a life that they love. I believe that we can have anything that we want in our personal and professional lives if we understand and apply basic principles of clarity, affirmation, gratitude, and expect abundance. I share my personal struggles and achievements along with my best tips and strategies to encourage, inspire, and guide others who may want to take a path similar to mine.

One topic that is close to my heart is the importance of self-love and embracing your self-worth. I’ve written my first book, Be Your Own Boyfriend, and it comes out in March 2013. In the month before its release, my team and I raised $11,771 in pre-orders of the book from 230 fans and friends around the world. You can learn more about Be Your Own Boyfriend here.

Every Thursday, I send out The Love Note, my weekly newsletter that lets you know what’s new at the blog, and what new webinars, Q&A calls, and other offerings are available. You can get it by subscribing below, and of course you can unsubscribe at any time:

I’m a speaker.

I travel all around the country—from Philly to Boston to New Hampshire to California and of course all over my home state of Texas—to talk to people about what I do, how I do it, and how they can do it too. My talks range from lifestyle entrepreneurship, how to network effectively, innovative and cost-effective marketing strategies, tips for writers and self-publishers, using technology to advance your lifestyle and career, dating and relationship advice for high achievers, and my best tips for being happy and balanced as an “overachiever.”

I candidly share my story and teach audiences how they can do what I did: get clear on what they want personally and professionally in life and then pursue those things while feeling great along the way.

I’ve spoken at Rotary Clubs around the world, Harvard Business School, Dartmouth College, Graziadio Business School at Pepperdine, University of Texas in Austin, Huston-Tillotson University, and the national conference Blogging While Brown. In 2013, I was a featured speaker at the South by Southwest (SXSW) Interactive Festival in Austin, Texas.

I’m a coach.

As an admissions consultant, I help young professionals navigate the murky waters of the MBA & MPP application process. Just last year, I helped my clients earn over half a million dollars in scholarships from Harvard and other top schools. I especially love working with applicants who have interesting personal stories, a strong candidacy, but are struggling with how to best tell their story and may have one seemingly fatal flaw in their application (e.g. “too young” or “too old,” nontraditional work experience, or a low test score). I see my job as helping applicants go from good to great.

In 2013, I will be launching a variety of online classes and workshops on topics of interest to my audience that will help them advance in their personal lives, their professional lives, and for those with an entrepreneurial streak, in their businesses.

My team and I are currently developing our offerings for Spring 2013.

Come tell me what you’d be interested in learning from me!
